Why Marijuana should be banned?

Marijuana is the most widely misused illegal substance in the United States (US) and most of the Westernized World, with a rising incidence of use and abuse over the last decade, particularly among teenagers. Much of the research on 9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), marijuana's principal psychoactive element, focuses on its neurological and anti-emetic effects, with little information on THC's cardiovascular (CV) effects.

THC has three significant effects on the CV and peripheral vasculature, according to the available literature: "cannabis arteritis," "cannabis-induced vasospasms," and platelet aggregation, with the association between marijuana usage and atherosclerosis development uncertain. Marijuana has been shown to cause inflammation in the peripheral vascular system. The pathogenesis is very similar to thromboangitis obliterans (Buerger's disease), an inflammatory and thrombotic disease of the hands and feet caused by tobacco smoking.

Furthermore, marijuana use has been linked to claudication, Raynaud's phenomenon, ischemic ulcers, and digital necrosis. Angiography revealed atherosclerotic alterations in chronic cannabis users, ranging from moderate plaques to complete blockage. Some users have said that quitting using marijuana has helped them. Marijuana affects judgement of time, distance, and speed, as well as response time and the capacity to monitor moving things. Apart from alcohol, marijuana is the most often discovered substance in drug-related motor vehicle deaths in numerous studies. Couch et al concluded that marijuana was likely an impairing factor in as many fatal accidents as alcohol based on post-mortem research. According to one research, recent marijuana use was discovered in 12 percent of fatal motor vehicle accidents. Other study has found a link between acute cannabis intoxication and an increased risk of motor vehicle deaths. Marijuana addiction is not only harmful to your health but also to the lives of your loved ones. You have the right to consume as many doughnuts, pizzas, candy, and cheeseburgers as you like, and if you still feel life is pointless or purposeless, or if you're having emotional difficulties, you may seek medical help. Nobody is going to stop you. But why did you go with Marijuana? Ponder and make a worthful impact rather wasting yours and your surrounding ones!
